What we collect

When you contact us or create an account, we collect what you give us: your name, business name, email address and anything you include in a message or brief. If you become a client, we also hold the content and imagery you provide for your website, and billing details are collected by our payment provider (we never see or store full card numbers).

Our own website records basic, privacy-respecting analytics — pages visited and approximate region — without building a profile of you.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to enquiries, build and manage your website, provide the client portal, invoice you, and keep you informed about work on your site. That's it — we don't sell personal information, and we don't use your details for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of service providers to run Weblit: website and database hosting, payment processing and email delivery. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. We only share what each provider needs to do its job, and we never share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Storage and security

Your data is stored with reputable cloud providers and protected in transit with encryption. Access to client information is limited to the people who need it to look after your website.

Cookies

The public website uses only the cookies it needs to function. The client portal uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we'll respond promptly.
